'Here Is What Failures Do' - Mohamed Tohami's Article - April 9, 2007

Here Is What Failures Do
by Mohamed Tohami

How many times did you give up and quit?

You were striving for success, but life turned to be very tough that you thought there is no way out and decided that it is better to quit the whole thing. Then you started to believe that you weren’t meant for success and you would better settle for an ordinary life.

We are all confronted with hard times. However, successful people respond in a totally different way than normal people.

First, they have an unshakable belief that winners never quit. Accordingly, they persist. As a result, the reward is massive success.

Here is an important truth stated by the great Thomas Edison: “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up”

It is only when you give up that you fail!

The most interesting part is that the moment you give up and quit is the closest moment to your massive success.

It looks as if God is testing your commitment to your purpose.

You must show that you are 100% committed. Go the extra mile and persist.

If you have a strong meaning for what you are doing, then you have to keep on moving forward. Never ever quit.

Persistence is a critical factor in the formula of creating everlasting success.

This is simply because you could never fail as long as you are still in the game. You can call yourself a failure, when you quit. But as long as you are trying different paths and willing to succeed, you will have the chance to get what you want.

Always remember that the moment when you are about to quit is the closest moment to your success. All what you have to do is to persist a little more and go the extra mile.

The reward will be the life of your dreams. The reward will be a meaningful life that is full of passion and satisfaction.

'Self Esteem For Women' - Emmanuel Segui's Blog Article - April 8, 2007

Emmanuel Segui's blog article is reprinted here.

Self Esteem for Women

Women are remarkably strong individuals who have the capability to battle with demons and conquer the world, but more often than not, it is their own self confidence that brings them down.

That nagging voice in the back of your head that questions your actions, criticizes you looks, and doubts your self worth can bring any woman-no matter how successful or powerful-to herknees.

Instead of falling prey to low self esteem, do something about it! Strive to break the cycle of feeling poorly about yourself, not doing anything about it, and then feeling worse.

Sadly, a major problem with the self esteem of women is the opinions of other women. Instead of fully supporting, complimenting, and boosting another women’s spirits, women can be
mean spirited.

Back biting, gossiping, and cruel remarks seem to run rampant with women friends, family, and colleagues. If you find yourself in a situation with another woman that is detrimental to your own sense of self worth and self esteem, find a way to resolve the situation.

Perhaps all it will take is speaking your feelings to a friend who is saying hurtful things or to a coworker who always points out the negative aspects of your work.

Quite often, these individuals suffer from low self esteem and use a defensive or derisive attitude in order to compensate. Be mindful of this behavior next time your friends, family, or coworkers are discussing another woman and be careful not to fall into the negative mindset. By setting a good example, you will influence others in addition to helping your own self esteem.
