Creating Leverage To Get What You Want

What does *create leverage* mean and how does that help you get what you want? Well, if you want to change your thoughts, you use negative thinking to create the leverage.

How does that work? If you associate enough pain to something (think negatively about it), your brain won't want to think it. It *hurts* too much. You can only think so much negativity before it feels like your brain wants to explode. Therefore, you must heap loads of negative thinking on that one negative thought.

Once you show your brain enough *pain*, you will have created leverage to stop thinking that which has stood in the way of getting what you want. When you stop thinking negative thoughts, it will be easier to make changes in your life and get what you want.

It's a lot like blowing up a balloon. You can only put so much hot air into it before it explodes.

Think of the thing you want, but you are not getting. One of the reasons you might not be getting it is because you don't really think you can. That thought pattern is stopping you from getting it, and that's the thought pattern with which you want to work.

When you rid yourself of a negative thought pattern, you suddenly find more good things in your life. Why? Because if you think you can't do something, thinking you can't do it is a negative thought pattern. If you think you can do it, that's a positive thought pattern. Once you get rid of the negative thought pattern, and fill the space in your mind with a positive thought pattern, your life will change.

Identify the thought pattern that is causing you problems. For instance, "I never can remember anything." I hear lots of elderly, and not so elderly, people saying this again and again. Well, guess what. The more you say it, the more you think it, the more you attract it! The more you say "I never can remember anything", the more you think "I never can remember anything". The more you think it, the more you attract that type of situation in your life.

You need to get leverage over that thought pattern. The way you do it is to associate so many bad things with that negative thought pattern that you don't want to think it. (You can learn how to create leverage here: Http://www.tameyourbrain.com/rejection.htm )

So, see how that works? If you create leverage (make something really bad to do or think) then your brain isn't going to want to go back to the old way of negative thinking. Look around your life. Which are the negative thought patterns that are keeping you down? Create leverage so they won't come back. Again, go here to learn how to create leverage: Http://www.tameyourbrain.com/rejection.htm

Good luck, and let me know how it works!
